The Man behind the Spirit
Wolfgang Kaufmann has always harboured a passion and a knack for the craft of distilling spirits. In 2014, he decided to hone his artisanal skills by training to become a certified Master Distiller. It took four years of preparation before he was able to launch his own distillates for sale in 2018.
Since then, Kaufmann has continuously refined and improved his spirits, further enriching his product range with the "Mountain Spirits" line. A further dream was realised in December 2016 when, alongside his family, he had the pleasure of opening "Mühlberg Rem" – a quaint, lovingly decorated show distillery on their farm.
