"Since 1903, we have been the Sporers, inspired by our craft. Producing and serving good liqueurs is a matter close to our hearts." Salzburg's Getreidegasse is home to the Sporer spirits and wine shop, now run by the fourth generation since 1903.
In the former brandy tavern of his great-grandfather, Michael Sporer offers a comprehensive selection of fine distillates in over 100-year old wooden barrels. These include 34 of his own products, including 18 liqueurs in various flavours, which are produced in this traditional house. The house classic is the "Hausmischung", a fine herbal liqueur created according to old family recipes.

Today, Michael Sporer runs the business and is proud that the family has now also opened a modern shop in Michael-Walz-Gasse, in addition to the traditional house in Getreidegasse.
This is the place where innovative new products are created. As early as 1903, the first Sporer liqueur, herbal bitters and punch were produced here under the management of Michael's great-grandfather.
Now the space has finally become too small and the growing clientele is happy to have found a wonderful place to linger, taste and enjoy in the new shop. After more than 100 years, the entire Sporer production has been moved to the new location.

In the Sporer manufacture, you can buy Sporer specialities directly or have your bottles re-filled across the 110m² space.
Sporer Wermut
Vermouth offers a special firework of flavours. Fragrant, animating, dry and above all aromatic. A quality Austrian Pinot Blanc refined with a Wachau brandy. This is accompanied by a mountain wormwood herb that has been blended with over 20 natural herbs, spices, bitters and citrus fruits. Perfectly balanced and matured in stoneware for enjoyment.
Sporer BITTER
Here is a speciality that comes in a tasteful white stoneware bottle with a blood-red label. What is hidden inside is a perfect blend, but it will remain a well-kept secret of the Sporers. In any case, ALL the ingredients are natural. Fragrant hibiscus blossoms, fruity orange and lemon zest and exotic spices come together in this bitter liqueur to create a unique composition. A perfect companion for classic Italo aperitifs and excellent as a spritz with soda and a shot of Prosecco. Cheers!
