Honest craftsmanship and intense aromas
The idea of our own manufactory was born in 2017, when we set off for Austria to acquire the knowledge and skills of gin distillation.
This three-day journey full of expectations and emotions paved the way for an incomparable adventure. From the very first attempts, we succeeded in creating a unique master distillate that brought the vision of our own distillery to life.
The SHADOWS Distillery is located in the district of Forchheim, between Bamberg and Nuremberg. In October 2019, we started the official production of our Franconian Dry Gin.

This is the reaction of many people who hear about our crazy project and who express great enthusiasm. In order to fulfil the desire for a bottle, we turned our vision into a mission. This was the birth of SHADOWS Distillery.

These three attributes unite the character of our gin. Franconian aromatic hops and passionate craftsmanship in every step of the production process make SHADOWS a very special taste experience. We attach great importance to careful selection of the botanicals and to sufficient time for the aroma to develop through several weeks of storage in stainless steel containers. THE COLLECTIONS
Signature Collection
Intense and full-bodied aromas make the SHADOWS Gin Signature Collection a unique taste experience.
The Signature is available in two variants, Classic and Iced. We store the finished distillate for several weeks, allowing it to rest and fully develop its aromas. The gins are then lovingly handcrafted into small batches of around 100 bottles and numbered.
Urban Collection
Do you like an unusual, broad spectrum of aromas and enjoy fresh and fruity flavours. Then, the Urban Collection is just right for you!
Like the Signature Collection, the SHADOWS Gin Urban Collection contains an aromatic hop from Franconian Switzerland as a special, regional botanical. These are distilled using our traditional copper still in a small-batch process and then lovingly bottled by hand. Genuine handcrafted gin.
